Resources for Information Literacy

The Information Literacy Training Programme was part of the work of the London Health Libraries Staff Development Group and delivered by members of CLIST.  Following consultation amongst CLIST members and the Library Assistants’ Working Group, a new programme was developed during 2007/08 to reflect the training needs of the LHL workforce and changes in the provision of electronic resources.  Please see the Staff Development Group pages for further information about current information literacy courses available.

Much of the Information Literacy Training Programme was then included under the Facilitating Information Literacy Education (FILE) course, run as a university module at London Metropolitan University and managed by Susie Andretta.  The FILE course is no longer running but please see links below to useful information literacy sources.
